R2 stereotactic adapter

The stereotactic adapter connects the R2 metal holder to your stereotax. The metal holder screws onto the milled tab at the lower end of the 8 mm stainless-steel rod, which clamps into common stereotactic frames in place of the standard electrode holder. A connector basket rides on a thin steel rod held by a blue sleeve: loosen the sleeve's set screw to slide the basket up or down and set the flex-cable tension, then tighten it again. During transfer, the adapter lies in the assembly and storage case, held by the blue rod support block, so the holder moves across with drive and probe still mounted.
